Registration Information
Registration Opens: May 31, 2024
Registration Deadline: October 1, 2024 (full payment due)
Registration Deposit: $400 (refundable minus $150 fee until 10/18/2023)
- Full deposit of $400 due August 1st, 2024
- Refundable minus $150 fee until October 1, 2024
- If registering multiple teams, deposit can be applied to another team's registration cost if a team is pulled from the tournament
Tournament Cancellation Policy: If the tournament is canceled for any unexpected reason tournament fee and deposit will be refunded minus $100 for all teams.

High School Varsity: $2,100
- Graduation years 2025, 2026, 2027, & 2028
High School Junior Varsity: $2,100
- Graduation years 2027, & 2028
7th/8th Grade AA: $2,000
- Graduation years 2029 & 2030
7th/8th Grade A: $2,000
- Graduation years 2029 & 2030
5th/6th Grade AA: $1,800
- Graduation years 2031 & 2032
5th/6th Grade A: $1,800
- Graduation years 2031 & 2032
3rd/4th Grade: $1,250
- Graduation years 2033 & 2034
- Format is 7 vs. 7 small field
Note: Divisions may be split or adjusted to create the most competitive experience for the tournament.
Discounts: Multiple team discount, $100 per team while registering 2+ teams (contact jason@citysidelax.com for discount code before registering)
Payment Options: CC/ACH are accepted through the registration system. Checks are also acceptable, please contact jason@citysidelax.com for instructions on paying by check.

Schedule
- Guaranteed 5 games, 3 pool play games and minimum 2 playoff/consolation games
- Friday games start at 5pm and end by 9pm (local teams only)
- Saturday games start at 8am and end by 9pm
- Sunday games start at 8am and end by 5pm

Parking
- Parking fee will be charged by Starfire Sports - $6.50/day or $13.00/weekend
- Additional Parking by Field 11
- Overflow Parking Lot off Fort Dent Way
- Park in designated spots, DO NOT PARK ILLEGALLY
Facility Rules
- No pets
- No smoking
- No un-licensed alcohol
- No bicycles, rollerblades or scooters
- No non-vendor cooking, selling of food or merchandise inside the campus
- No fire or flame of any kind
- No sunflower seeds or peanuts
- No chewing gum
- No hard candy
- No food of any kind permitted on field turf fields
- No cleats on indoor field turf fields
- Spectators must remain outside of the yellow field perimeter lines
- No excessive noise
- Deposit all trash in the garbage cans provided
- Deposit all paper & plastic in the recycle bins provided
- Do not remove field equipment (goals, corner flags, etc.)
- All tents must be anchored and weighed down at all times
- No fighting
- Starfire is not liable for any injuries that occur on its campus during the event
US Lacrosse Membership
All tournament participants must be current US Lacrosse members in order to participate. US Lacrosse membership numbers will be collected and verified when completing tournament waivers. If you are not currently a member, or your membership is set to expire during the event, please visit US Lacrosse to register.
Player Registration & Waivers
All Player Registrations & Waivers will be completed through League Apps. Team contacts will be sent instructions on player registration closer to the event.
Waivers Must be Completed by October 15th - It is the responsibility of the coaches and/or directors to have every member of your roster sign the waivers prior to the tournament in order to play.
Team Owner Instructions:
- Login at League Apps tournament Dashboard
- Find team under My Staff Assignments
- Click Invite Players
- Enter parent emails, send invite
- Verify all players registered on roster page, see pending player invites
- Add additional staff as needed (Coach, Team Parent, Volunteer)
Parent Instructions:
- Complete player registration once received from Team Owner
- US Lacrosse Membership required

Weather Policy
In the event of adverse weather or unplayable field conditions, the Tournament Director reserves the right to:
- Reduce game times in order to catch up with the schedule
- Finish games before inclement weather arrives
- Reschedule games, if possible
- Convert tournament format as needed to provide the opportunity for teams to play as many games as possible
- Every attempt will be made to complete a fully scheduled event
We will make every attempt to play every minute of every game but the safety of players and all tournament attendees comes first.
No refunds will be granted if these actions are necessary after the start of the tournament.
Lightning
If lightning is observed at any location play will be suspended immediately following US Lacrosse Lightning Policy. Any lightning within 6 miles of fields will result in suspension of play, and all participants and spectators will be required to find safe shelter. Play will resume in 30 minutes assuming no additional lightning strikes occur within 6 miles. Any further lightning strikes within 6 miles will reset the 30 minute clock. Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust schedule based on the delay (ex: game suspended in 1st half may resume at start of 2nd half, games suspended in 2nd half may be considered completed)
Lodging
This event is not a stay-to-play event. It will be the team's or families' responsibility to make any needed travel arrangements.
For your convenience we have set up a small hotel block at Courtyard Seattle Sea-Tac Area. Use the hotel booking link to reserve rooms. If additional rooms are needed, please contact jason@citysidelax.com. Booking closes 10/04.
Free Agent Policy
*REGISTRATION AS A FREE AGENT FOR EVENTS IS NOT GUARANTEED*
Players interested in participating in an event but are not on a team MUST register as a Free Agent using Emerald City Cup Free Agent Form.
Once a player registers as a Free Agent, their contact information will be shared to attending coaches/directors.
If a team needs players for their team, the coach/director will contact the Free Agent directly.
Once a free agent is added to a team, please notify jason@citysidelax.com.
Help the Tournament - Staff / Volunteer
We are so excited for our 1st Annual Boys Tournament this fall. We’d love to get your support to make this event the best we can, and continue to grow the game. We are looking for Adults and High Schoolers who are interested in volunteering and/or working as staff for the tournament. Check out the details below and fill out the survey if interested!
Volunteer/Staff Positions: Score Table, Setup/Takedown, Parking Coordinator, Merchandise Sales, Tournament Information, Runner, Referee (qualified through WALOA), General Support (will sign for volunteer hours / staff to be paid $15-20/hr depending on position)
